PARK AVENUE RENOVATION
Revamped second-floor apartment in a duplex. Opened up cramped spaces with a large beam, remodeled kitchen, and replaced dining room with a kitchen island. Worthwhile structural changes made.
This is an second floor apartment within a duplex building. The existing small dining room and kitchen were walled off from the living room. Because of this, the spaces were small and dark. Similar to my Herbert Street project, I added a large beam to open up the spaces. The kitchen was fully remodeled. The dining room was replaced with a kitchen island. The project did require structural drawings for the new opening and demolished walls. It was well worth it!
